Fruit Cereal ( Unicorn Fruit loops ) – A Easy Homemade Healthy Breakfast. It is really enjoyable at any day, any time and in any place. Not only the texture is fabulous, but also its taste is yummy.

Actually, I do not know about this preparation. Recently my daughter asks me for Fruit Cereal for breakfast. I was in a dilemma about what to do. I can google it easily, but I surrender myself. She then showed me how to prepare it. I feel proud.

Generally, we take a common breakfast on a regular basis. According to our food habit and customs, we enjoy our three main meals. Breakfast is very essential and compulsory. Some people skip their breakfast due to weight loss or any other reasons. Please do not skip your breakfast. It is your first meal after a long gap at night.

Current Scenario

We are all ( kids to adult ) living a hectic life in this modern world. Competition and pressure are two constant companions in our life. Junk foods and varieties of drinks are compulsory in our daily life to shortcut especially our breakfast and lunch.

In our school life, neither so many junk foods nor restaurants were available. So we took homemade food always. “Mayer Hater Ranna” makes us healthy and energetic. As compared to people of an earlier period, the health of today’s children is not so good. They have low immunity and a lower capacity to fight any disease.

It is again rebuilt that homemade food and the right food habit boosts our immunity power. And we can fight against any disease even if the unknown virus Covid-19. Fruits are essential for our body and mind. Take at least one fruit on a regular basis. Having fruit on an empty stomach increases our metabolism. But do not take any citrus fruit on an empty stomach.

People may also like Poha in their breakfast.

Nutritional value of fruits used in Fruit Cereal

I use banana, mango, papaya, blackberries, litchi, pomegranate and green coconut. All fruits have lots of benefits and high nutritional value.

Banana is good for weight loss. It controls blood sugar, increases digestive health and has antioxidants.

Mango has also antioxidants. It is good for our skin, eye, hair and heart. It boosts our immunity and digestive health.

Papaya is high in antioxidants. It has Vitamin A, C, E and anticancer properties. It improves immunity and digestive health.

Blackberry has vitamin C, K and high fibre. It boosts our brain and oral health.

Litchi has a vitamin B complex and rich in fibre. It increases metabolism and fights against cancer.

Pomegranate fight against prostate cancer, breast cancer. It lowers blood pressure, heart disease and arthritis.

Green coconut is rich in antioxidants. It helps to reduce heart diseases, diabetics, kidney stone and blood pressure.

Tips for making Fruit Cereal

#  Take ay fruit for preparation. But do not take citrus fruit. Taking citrus fruit with other sweet fruit upsets our stomach.

#  You can take a strawberry, blueberry, apple, kiwi whatever you like.

#  The green coconut water measurement is very important. So do not overflow it.

# Avoid Fruit Cereal in the evening or night. It is not good for health.

#  Take this breakfast within 30 minutes after preparation. Long-term consumption of green coconut water is harmful to one’s health.

Directions

Prepare Fruit Cereal at any time throughout the year. You can use seasonal fruits as well as all time fruits. Green coconut is available during all seasons. So, there is no problem making this preparation.

Step 1

Wash all fruits which you choose for preparation thoroughly. It is preferable to use a veggie washer to remove dirt, pathogens, and pesticides in this pandemic condition.

Step 2

Cut bananas in circle shape, mango and papaya in square shapes. Peel off the cover of litchis.

Step 3

Cut the top of the pomegranate. Cut the whole pomegranate horizontally and vertically. Now you can easily remove the large chunks of seeds.

Step 4

Place all fruits in separate bowls so that you do not forget to mix any fruits in your Fruit Cereal. If you place it in a single bowl or plate it will be messed up.

Step 5

Cut the bottom of the green coconut and make a whole. Pour the water of green coconut into a separate bowl.

Step 6

Now decorate all fruits as your own choice nicely. Pour green coconut water over the fruits. Do not pour the entire green coconut water if not required.

Step 7

Your delicious and healthy Fruit Cereal breakfast is ready. Serve it on its own or with butter toast.
